中午照例跟teammate们一起吃饭。刚在cafeteria传统位置坐定，DB突然提议去外面吃，瞬间全部响应。于是一拨人端着吃喝跑出大楼溜到小草坪边沿台阶坐开，我开玩笑道宣布picnic开始。环顾四周只有我们这么干的，team氛围不错。就是可怜我半年下来英语还是烂，常跟不上话题。下午跟经理1:1，聊的主要还是communication和teamwork的问题。

关于户外午餐的点子，想到“跳出思维惯性”。来美国后思维方式在某种程度上讲在变窄，且挺严重的，主要拜变窄的学习工作生活所赐。智商在一定程度上可以补情商和经验，但只是一定程度上罢了。Pan Chao同学，继Liu Kai，Zhu Kai，第三个从天朝微软前来雷德蒙农村探望本人的大学同学了，送来祖国的清新空气，想当年都是一起下过乡（紫金港新校区实在太农村了）扛过枪的（军训）。扯远了——

动手之前尽量了解清楚是好习惯，我喜欢everything under control的感觉。但怎么说呢，了解清楚并不会让你选到一条完全没有不确定性、可以保证你怎么怎么样的路，因为基本上，实际操作起来所有事情都不会按照你的想法走的。了解清楚的目的应该是，当事情的发展违背预计的时候，你能够比别人更迅速、精准地做出反应。

A little Excited about M3 is my current personal message on Live Messenger. We had our team all-hands yesterday about kicking off M3 and I got a little excited about the roadmap, cheers! It seems we've won the full supports and confidence from the management and strategy board after two excellently achieved milestones. Cloud computing rocks! And I guess we'd be safe in recession. Well, I don't think I did a quite good job in M2, and I believe I'd offer a much more decent bash for M3. Making short term goal and schedule. Thanks, you folks, especially to Ankit, Yao, and Vincent. In addition, a question I should have had asked myself earlier is that what I want when I leave States/Microsoft in years, with which I could achieve my goals of life in China, as that is why I decided to come to this wonderland. I challenged the similar question against myself when started college life, but not in graduate school.

FYI, guys, M3 stands for Milestone 3, not BMW M3. It's too early for me to afford a luxury car. lol

I guess it's the first time I update my blog for April 1st. Yeah, it's April 1st! The very day started with that my lead said he'd take a 3-month vacation since this Friday and I believed it when I walked into the meeting room; I was really sleepy that moment... No any other April-1st joke as we were all too busy all day round. Had Indian buffet with teammates as lunch. I liked the rice pudding so much that I finished three bowls!!! And enjoyed the dinner and the conversation later.

But that's not all about my day. The weird stuff began and ended in the very early morning, yes, I mean in my dream! In the dream we were attacked by an alien at a camping site, or campus, which I couldn't tell as u know it's common in a dream, and most of us died in short time, just like what happened in Alien vs Predator 1. Finally the alien appeared in front of me, which looked like a combination of terminator and alien, I meant the female-like robot in Terminator 3 and the alien in Alien 4. I was thinking about how to escape and counter-strike. At that very moment the magic thing occurred, the killing machine turned into a hot beauty as Mystique did in X-Man, and walked closer slowly... and... and I couldn't remember... The scenery jumped to somewhere else, I guess we were trying escaping from the alien's continuous attack as what was going on in Terminator stories after the rise of the machines, and unfortunately I was stopped by the alien beauty again, with several parts of the appearance not human-like but robot-and-alien. Let me use the word, "she" and "her", she asked for hangout, saying she'd be at mine (I had absolutely no idea about "mine" here...) at XX o'clock sharp and then disappeared suddenly; I totally have no idea about what I said, accepted, declined, or too scared to say anything, in the dream! The weird asking for hangout reoccurred for several times and I couldn't remember if there were any hangout going on but at least I never achieved escaping from her control, never got killed, while more last-round survivors were destroyed into pieces. At the end, I was walking in desert with U.S. soldiers, tanks and attack helicopters passing by, yes, the troops dressed in the uniform as what we saw at Iraq on CNN news finally arrived! I turned around for a while, wondering what's the destiny of that alien. Seemed missing the cute alien a little unconsciously...

Hmmmmm, I'm a big fan of Terminator, Alien, Predator, since being a kid and I just watched the preview of Terminator 4, Terminator Salvation, coming this May 22! The End Begins! Couldn't help my mind's jumping to work, M3 is launching, cheers! The classic joke I made to teammates in M2 is that when being asked if the UI appeared in my dream, I said, definitely, and, in fact, I'd fallen love with the hot UI, and proposed recently after enjoyed together 6 months day and night; everyone. lol
